“Realize you can  carve your own path.”

I got into international affairs with the hope it would mean alot of traveling and working in a dynamic and multicultural environment. Human (read also as women’s/minority/environmental/animal) Rights became my focus when I realized that without purpose I could not really function.

I got into international affairs with the hope it would mean alot of traveling and working in a dynamic and multicultural environment. Human (read also as women’s/minority/environmental/animal) Rights became my focus when I realized that without purpose I could not really function.

But there are many ways to work towards something you believe in. Experience has taught me the following about myself:

  • I love coming up with new ideas/solutions, and I also like to execute them (even the logistical aspects)
  • I tend to take initiative, especially if general attitude is of passiveness. I thrive when given responsibility and being challenged. If I know how to do it myself, I will do it. If not, I will learn how to
  • I am a perfectionist and proudly focus on small details many seem to simply not notice, whilst always still taking into account the bigger picture
  • I like learning about new topics and can do research hours on end
  • I enjoy meeting unique characters and my shyness disappears when communicating with people different to myself
  • I believe simplicity and clearness are key to communicating in an engaging manner. Finding creative ways to advocate for a cause I am passionate about in is fun
  • Images and design are important to me. No more unappealing and boring advocacy content please!

In summary, my skills lay in Project Management, Advocacy and Communications. And I am just getting started; I want to learn more and do more. Please contact me if you think I could be a valuable contribution to a great cause.

Specialities: human rights, project management, advocacy, communications, flexibility and multi-tasking, creativity, content creation, organisation of events, research and analysis, writing reports/articles, social media, layout and design, and much more
